The Lhasa Kailash Guge Kingdom Tour starts with a drive from Kathmandu and a flight back from Lhasa. Our first destination is Lake Manasarovar and Mount Kailash. We are also involved in three days circumambulation around Mount Kailash crossing through 5600 meter Dolma La pass. Tirthapuri, Tholing, and Tsaprang are other destinations after Mount Kailash, which is known as the Guge Kingdom. The Guge Kingdom was an ancient kingdom in western Tibet. The kingdom is situated around 2000 kilometer westward of Lhasa and very near Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. We visit ruins and several hot springs in the Guge Kingdom. Ruins and the landscape around the Guge Kingdom are really impressive and picturesque. After being there for three days, our destination is the historical cities of Shigatse, Gyantse, and Lhasa. Lhasa Kailash Guge Kingdom Tour is a combination of ancient, religious, adventure, and modern, with the real-life styles of Tibetans and their religion. We can also add Everest Base Camp in this itinerary and plan it the opposite way, fly to Lhasa first and drive back to Kathmandu.
