Maha Shivratri Nepal Darshan Tour is specially catered for the special darshan of Pashupatinath Temple on the divine occasion of Maha Shivratri. The holy temple is crowded with Hindu pilgrims from around the world for the darshan of Lord Shiva. With the special puja on the day of Maha Shivratri, we perform the Rudrabhishekham in the Holy Pashupatinath Temple.

The trip includes a visit to Muktinath temple, an extremely spiritual and sacred site for devout pilgrims that help them discover or attain ‘moksha’ from the cycle of birth and rebirth. Located at an elevation of 3,710 meters, at the base of Thorong La Pass, Muktinath is considered a mystical center for both Hindus and Buddhists. Thousands of devotees flock to this ancient shrine that radiates endless energy and helps pilgrims who are on a quest to uncover inner energy.

We will greet you at the airport upon arrival and drive to the hotel in Kathmandu. Refreshments and check into the hotel and last-minute preparations for the trip. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu. 

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the Holy Temple of Manakamana Devi. After 3 hours of driving and a cable car ride, we arrive at the Manakamana Temple. Darshan and lunch at the temple premises and continue 3 hours drive to Pokhara. Check into the hotel, refreshments, rest, and overnight at hotel in Pokhara. 

Early morning scenic flight to Jomsom, and we will drive to Muktinath. The Himalayan roads take 3 hours to take us to the Muktinath Temple. Darshan and puja at the pious Muktinath Temple. After darshan offering prayers, we will drive back to Jomsom where we will be staying overnight.

After breakfast, we catch a flight to the lake city of Pokhara. We will catch glimpses of the Annapurna Massif, full of extremely high peaks. Back to the hotel in Pokhara and after refreshment, visit David’s Fall and Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple(cave). Evening boating at Phewa Lake and Darshan Taal Barahi Temple. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara. 

Morning flight back to the capital city of Kathmandu. After check-in hotel, and refreshments, visit the Jalnarayan Temple (Sleeping Vishnu) and Swayambhunath Stupa. Evening walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square, visiting local markets and bazaars. If time permits, we will also catch sight of the Living Goddess Kumari. Back to the hotel and rest.

 Today is the special day of Mahashivratri. We will attend the Maha Shivratri festival in Pashupatinath, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Free morning around the hotel and afternoon sightseeing at the Guheshwori Shaktipeetham. Explore around the festival at Pashupatinath Premises and proceed to do the Darshan of the Holy Lord Shiva and get blessings. Evening darshan and Rudrabhishekham of Lord Shiva at Pashupatinath and after Shivratri aarati, drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

 Drive to the airport as per the flight timing and conclude the trip.
