Detail Itinerary

08 july Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300 m) transfer to hotel and overnight Hotel holy himalaya or similar

Our representative will pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport and guide you to your hotel room. In the evening, you will be having a typical Nepali dinner with a brief about the tour. Overnight at hotel.

09 july Day 02: Sight seeing in Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel holy himalaya or similar

We will visit the famous Hindu Temple of the Kathmandu Valley today. After breakfast, we will first get to Pashupatinath, Gujesori temple and then Satyanarayana with lunch in between. and Drive to Trisuli and overnight stay.

10 july Day 03: Drive from kathmandu to Syabrubesi (6 hours, 170 km). Overnight at Guest house (best in town)

After breakfast, we will get on a BUS and start our drive through the black-topped road to get to the newly opened friendship bridge at the Nepal-Tibet border or the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung border. Overnight at Guesthouse

11 july Day 04: Drive to Kerung immigration process. Overnight at Kerung guest house (best in town)
After Breakfast we will drive to Kerung in Tibet. The immigration process can take 2-3 hours and we will drive 2 hours to reach at kerung. Overnight at Guest House

12 july Day 05: Drive from Kerung to Saga (5-6 hours, 4640m). Overnight at Saga grand

We will drive through the high hills on a comfortable black-topped road to get to the village of Saga. The path climbs up and down the passes of Thong La and La Lung before getting us comfortably to the village of Saga. Along the way, we will be able to see Lake Peikutso and the typical yak and sheep grazing technique of the Tibetan people. Overnight at Guesthouse.

13 july Aug Day 06: Acclimatization Day at saga .Overnight at saga grand

As the tour goes through the highest pass of the world at 5600 meters, we will need a day to get accustomed to the high altitude of the region which is why we will be staying in the same village today. We will spend the entire day with short hikes around the village. Overnight at Guest house.

14 july Day 07: Drive from Saga to Lake Mansarovar (5-6 hours, 277km, 4558m). Overnight at Guest house (best in town)

After an early breakfast, we will drive towards the highest fresh Water lake in the world. The holy lake of Mansarovar lies at an altitude of 4558 meters with greenish-blue color. It is believed that the lake was once a resting place of Lord Bishnu. It is surrounded by Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandala and the Lake Rakshash. Lake Rakshash is thought to be created by the evil King Ravan which is why the locals think that the water here is poisonous. Overnight at Guesthouse

15 july day 08: Exploration Day. Drive to Darchen and Drive from Darchen to Yamadwar and trek to Derapuk (5-6 hours, 4900m). Overnight at himalaya hotel

Today, we will get into the colors of religion and explore the holy lake of Mansarovar. We will perform some rituals and then, get going to the village of Darchen. We will drive to the small settlement of Tarboche. Tarboche is the starting point of the Kailash Kora. Yamadwar, the gateway of the god of death, is located in Tarboche. From here, we will walk a few hours to arrive at the village of Derapuk situated in front of the north face of Mt. Kailash. Today, we will be able to see the beautiful views of the Gurla-Mandala, Ape, Kamet and other high peaks. Overnight at Derapuk.

16 july Day 09: Charan Sparsha and Overnight at Derapuk (Full Moon) guest house (best in town)

After 3 hours 7 KM walk you can reach at foot of  Kailash. You can spent 1-2 hours and trek back to Dirapuk followed by undersigned path. Overnight at guest house.

17 july Day 10:  Kailash Kora. Trek to Juthulpuk via Khanda Sanglo Pass (8-9 hours)  guest house (best in town)

Today is the longest and hardest trek day of the Kailash Kora. We will walk up the highest pass of Khanda Sanglo to arrive at the village of Juthulpuk. We will visit Kuber Kunda, Buddha foot prints on the wa. Overnight at Juthulpuk.

18 july Day 11: Kailash Kora. Drive back to Darchen. visit trithapuri and  Overnight at darchen (Himalaya hotel)

During the morning, we will be exploring the caves and temples around the Milarepa cave. After breakfast, we will hike some 3-4 hours to complete our Kora and get back to the village of Darchen. We will visit Trithapuri and Overnight at hotel.

19 july Day 12: Inner Kora himalaya hotel: Early in the morning reach to Asthapath by horse (if government is allow to drive, we drive up to Asthapath) to Asthapath and walking to Saptarishi cave, nandi and Atmalingam. Back to Asthapath and Overnight at Darchen. Please note: we will try to manage inner kora but we are not gurantee for asthapath, Saptarishi and Nandi because of local policies in Tibet.

20 july Day 13: drive to Saga. Overnight at saga grand

21 july Day 14: Drive back to Kerung. Overnight at Guest house (best in town)

Morning drive to Darchen and We will drive back to the village of Kerung on a comfortable ride. We will have some free time as we descent on a paved path. We will spend the rest of the time relaxing. Overnight at tea house

22 july Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel holy himalaya

Today, we will cross the Nepal-Tibet border and get back to the capital city of Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

23 july Day 16: Final departure to home

Our representative will take you to the international airport of Nepal for your departure
